Commercial and major projects
When cabinetry is measured in units rather than kitchens, the job stops being about design and starts being about consistency, schedule and what happens in year three. CabTek machines repeatable cabinetry to a single specification in Queanbeyan, and delivers it anywhere in Australia.
Project record
Workforce accommodation
An accommodation operator had fitted their rooms with imported flat pack kitchens. Inside about six months the units had failed, and the operator was facing a second replacement bill on cabinetry that was supposed to last the life of the building.
They asked CabTek to price eight units. Then a hundred. Then three hundred. We machined the lot to one specification in Queanbeyan and shipped it north, flat packed and labelled so it could be installed room by room without a cabinet maker on site.
Working on a similar site? Send us the room schedule and we will tell you what is achievable before you commit.
The maths on volume
On a three hundred room site, cabinetry that fails at eighteen months does not cost you a cabinet. It costs you three hundred cabinets, the freight, the trades, and the rooms you could not let while the work was happening.
Where volume work goes
Mining and resources villages, camps and worker housing. Compact kitchenettes, robes and vanities, repeatable to one spec and built for high turnover use.
Multi lot builds, display homes and apartments. Quote off plans, staged delivery, and the same cabinet in every dwelling. Ask owner: name the builder clients we may list
Departmental and public sector fit outs, supplied direct or as a subcontract package to the head contractor.
Counters, storage walls, back of house joinery and shopfitting cabinetry, made to the shop drawings.
“John and Gareth are a great team. I have worked with them for a number of years and have found them to be responsive and produce high quality products. Would recommend them to builders and renovators.”

Project enquiry
Volume work is quoted on spec, not on a price list. Send what you have, even if it is only a room count and a date, and you will get a straight answer from the people who would actually machine it.
